To mark the opening of Copenhagen Fashion Week, Palm Angels presents a special collaboration with Odd Balance, the organic ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha brand co-founded by Danish digital creative Emili Sindlev.
The terrace of The Union Kitchen becomes a hub for Copenhagen’s creative community and the international fashion industry. Inspired by the city’s celebrated café culture, Palm Angels and Odd Balance present a bespoke matcha menu featuring 3 signature beverages created exclusively for Copenhagen Fashion
Week that celebrate a ritual deeply woven into Copenhagen’s contemporary lifestyle. Designed for editors, buyers, creatives, and friends of the brand, the space offers a moment to pause, reconnect. The pop-up cafe opened to the public on August 3rd from 1-6pm with free matcha being offered throughout the day.

As Palm Angels continues to strengthen its presence across Scandinavia, the collaboration reflects a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, community, and cultural exchange, while reinforcing Palm Angels’ commitment to creating culturally relevant moments in key global fashion destinations. Bringing together the considered simplicity of Copenhagen’s café culture with Palm Angels’ expressive creative identity, it offers a new way to experience the brand through a distinctly Copenhagen lens, rooted in fashion and the people, places, and moments that surround it.

“Palm Angels was born in Venice Beach, inspired by a lifestyle where movement and street culture naturally coexist. Los Angeles defined the spirit and Milan brought the craft. Copenhagen embodies that same mix of creativity, style and community unlike almost anywhere else in Europe, which is why we’re showing up at Fashion Week as participants, not spectators. We see this as the start of a meaningful relationship with the Scandinavian creative scene.” Joey Gabbay, CEO of Bluestar Alliance, Palm Angels’ parent company.
“I’m so excited to welcome Palm Angels to Copenhagen and kick off Copenhagen Fashion Week together. It’s incredibly special to see my brand, Odd Balance, team up with Palm Angels to create three signature matcha drinks exclusively for the occasion. I personally can’t wait to stop by on August 3rd and enjoy the Matcha Raspberry Lemonade!” Emili Sindlev, Co-Founder of Odd Balance.
